Public environmental information
Quarterly publication — Q2 2026 (April – June)
Basis for this disclosure
This disclosure is published under the conditions of Environmental Permit no. 152 / 14.12.2017, revised by nr. 71 din 06.07.2026, which requires the permit holder to inform the public quarterly, via its own website, about the environmental consequences of its activity.
Activity and site
TERRA CYCLE S.R.L. (RO 37298322), trading as KROMM Recycling, carries out collection of non-hazardous and hazardous waste, recovery of sorted recyclable materials, wholesale trade in waste, and dismantling of end-of-life vehicles.
The authorised site is located in Agigea, Constanța County, on the former CAP premises, and comprises a 700 sqm hall for the treatment and recovery of sorted recyclable materials, concrete platforms and storage areas separated by waste category.
Environmental factors and measures applied
Water
Water is supplied from the public network. Areas used for the preliminary storage of untreated vehicles are fitted with channels collecting rainwater, preventing substances from being carried off site.
Soil
Depollution of end-of-life vehicles and storage of liquid waste are carried out exclusively on concrete surfaces inside the dismantling hall. Hazardous and non-hazardous solid waste is stored separately on dedicated platforms.
Air
Refrigerant from vehicle air-conditioning systems is extracted and recovered with dedicated equipment before dismantling, to prevent release into the atmosphere.
Waste
On-site temporary storage capacity is capped by the permit, separately for non-hazardous and hazardous waste. Resulting waste is handed over exclusively to authorised operators, with transport documents and traceability records prepared in accordance with applicable law.
Status for the reporting period
Operations are carried out within the limits and conditions set by the environmental permit. Any accidental pollution is reported immediately to the environmental authority, as required by the permit.
Requests for environmental information
Anyone may request information on the environmental impact of the activity, under Government Decision 878/2005 on public access to environmental information. Requests may be sent to the contact details below and are answered within the statutory deadlines.
